They're a quartet who have redefined what classical music should sound, or look, like. It's been some time since they last were in Prague, and there's tickets left in almost every price range.

My favourite annual food festival is back! Scheduled around Bastille day, the community of French food importers get together to offer food, wine and cheese accompanied by music and events. It's open from 10:00 to 21:00 every day (20:00 on Sunday when the wine runs out!)
Jazz Dock's year-long "Jazz from four continents" is a real commitment to showcasing live jazz from all over the world. The German Julian Hesse quartet mixes musicians from Europe and the US, as well as all the musical influences that implies. They'll deliver jazz on the waterfront in Prague next month.
I've taken many delightful walking tours of Prague. I'm always interested in how tour guides position themselves in what is admittedly a crowded market. French-born resident Avril Huck has chosen a feminist perspective on Czech (and Prague) history as her USP.
For those of you who haven't abandoned the city for a summer's break, there's a treat coming up on Saturday. Dozens of Czech castles and chateaus will be open after dark with events, tours and music. Things vary depending on the location but the wide list of participating venues (link in CZ) means you've got
I'm looking forward to the gravity-defying Cirque du Soleil performance later this summer. They'll be in Prague for a month and will have multiple shows on weekends.
British rock legend Robbie Williams is touring again and will be in Prague this Sunday. His reputation as a showman precedes him so the demand for tickets is high. As of time of writing, there are - just about - a few tickets left, so hurry!
Paul Taylor brings his wit and observations about life in France to the stage. While usually a bilingual act, his show in Prague will be in English.
Dan Brown will launch his new Robert Langdon book at Lucerna's grand hall next month. The book is set in Prague and Netflix has already greenlit production of a series based on the book.
Prague will host tours of the city's massive sewerage system for one day only! Tours are short - 20 minutes every half-hour - and you'll find out how Prague handles the massive volumes of rainwater and sewage.
Often described as the most influential comedian since Chaplin, Gervais brings his latest record-breaking tour, Mortality, to Prague next month. His brand of comedy is not for everyone, but the record numbers who see him live shows that "not for everyone" is still "thousands of people". Very few tickets left as of time of writing.
Scottish comedian Daniel Sloss returns to Prague later this year with his new show. If you like deadpan delivery and slow-burn setups in your comedy, this is the kind of show to go to.
