Restaurants, bistros, bars and coffee shops!

Monastiq terrace

It's partially hidden in the relaxing grounds of the Mandarin Oriental hotel. This place serves international favourites with Czech twists and the highest standards of customer care.

Eska restaurant and bakery

Inside the Forum Karlin building, Eska has amazing bread options and a great weekend breakfast. They don't take bookings but waiting is rarely more than 10 minutes

Kafka bar

Previously the Hedgehog bar, this fresh rebrand has a delightful range of cocktails based on local Kafka gin - and they are magnificent!

Falafelova

It's tiny but this pun-tastic restaurant has delicious freshly made food that's a treat. Hidden just off Dlouha, it's excellent as a lunch option too.

Share Sweet & Espresso Bar

Vegan desserts don't have to be tasteless and grubby. Share Sweet has a great selection - but the lemon cake remains my staunch favourite.

Il Palazzo

Many of my Italian friends have recommended this place to me and I've never been disappointed. Their pizzas are delicious, and their Negronis are sublime.

Cantina

I love Mexican food and Cantina has tender, juicy fajitas that make my mouth water. It's pricey, but the portions are more generous than is usual.

Soul Kitchen

This is a hidden gem with hearty Greek food in Vinohrady. Their souvlaki is exquisite. And they've roasted stuffed peppers, just like we do in Malta!

Cafe Palanda

The size and quality of the burgers here are impressive. Try the six-pack burger with a parmesan crust, as shown here. Delicious!

Emoi

Finding great food outside a city isn't easy. If you're in the Liberec region, Emoi has some of the best Pad Thai you'll enjoy.
