I’ve enjoyed many a cocktail at the Mandarin Oriental’s bar, so I knew what to expect at their Monastiq restaurant. They call their menu “contemporary Czech” but I think they’re doing themselves a disservice because there are clear international influences there. It’s pricey so it won’t be a regular place to visit but a special occassion does need a little something extra, doesn’t it?

Be warned Despite the kitchen’s best attempts, this is not a good place if you have severe food allergies.
