Location is important if a restaurant is to survive, but a great location without passing trade needs to be good if its to attract custom. That’s one reason to value out-of-the-way places, but with the river close by I don’t understand why Mensa isn’t more popular already. It’s been open a few months and the Italian-inspired cuisine is delicious. My current favourite is their pappardelle all cinghiale.
