Prague’s Charles bridge is possibly the last bridge in the world that still has gas lighting. It’s a sweet touch for the medieval city and when Christmas comes round, Prague does us one better. The gas lights are lit by hand starting at dusk, around 4:00 pm. The whole process takes some time because many stop to take selfies with the lamplighter. It’s something to enjoy at this time of year, everyday till 23 December.
