When discovered, the fossilised remains of Lucy changed our understanding of human evolution. We used to think that an increase in brain size led to walking upright and “being human”, but Lucy showed it’s the other way round – walking upright led to an increase in our brains. Her remains are touring Europe for the first time and they started right here in Prague. The exhibition lasts till 23rd October and the museum is open till 8pm every day. Make sure you book in advance because the queues are long and they only let in a small number of people at a time.
